Joycelyn Teoh Hooi Cheng


Miss Joycelyn Teoh Hooi Cheng earned her LLB (Hons) at the University of Northumbria at Newcastle in 2008 and obtained her Certificate in Legal Practice from the Legal Profession Qualifying Board in 2009.

After undergoing her pupillage under our Mr S. Sivaneindiren, she was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court in Malaya on 12th November 2010. Thereafter, she joined the Firm's Litigation Department as a Legal Assistant and was promoted to Senior Legal Assistant in January 2016.

Miss Teoh's main area of practice is in general civil litigation with particular emphasis on commercial and corporate litigation, company law related matters including company and shareholder disputes and winding-up proceedings, bankruptcy, employment disputes, debt recovery, interlocutory reliefs and remedies.

Beside English and Bahasa Malaysia, she is fluent in Mandarin, Teochew, Hokkien and Cantonese. Joycelyn holds a black belt in Tae-Kwon Do and plays badminton and golf as and when she can find the time. She contributes her time regularly to charitable activities and outdoor activities.
