Litigation

Ms Teng obtained her LL.B. with Second Class (Upper Division) Honours from Multimedia University in 2011. After undergoing her pupillage she was admitted and enrolled as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court in Malaya in July 2012 and since then has been in active practice in general civil litigation.

In October 2013, Ms Teng was co-opted by the Penang Commission of Enquiry on Civil Structures Failures at Menara UMNO and the Second Penang Bridge Project, acting as a transcriber and researcher for the Commission.

On the 27th of July 2015, she joined the Firm's Litigation Department as a Legal Assistant. She was promoted to the position of Senior Legal Assistant on the 1st day of January 2018.

Ms Teng's area of practice includes contractual disputes, commercial disputes, shareholders disputes, land disputes, debt recovery, banking, winding up and bankruptcy. She embraces and is an advocate of adopting available technology in legal practice to aid cost-cutting and to achieve optimal productivity.

Besides Bahasa Malaysia, Ms Teng is fluent in both English and Mandarin. She enjoys cooking and reading in her spare time.
